Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace
You, you may say
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world
You, you may say
I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will live as one
That's great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane And Lenny Bruce is not afraid Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn World serves its own needs, dummy serve your own needs. Feed it off an aux speak, grunt No strength the ladder starts to clatter with the fear, fight down height. Wire in a fire, representing seven games with a government for hire and a combat site. Left of West and coming in a hurry with the furies breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered crop. Look at that low playing! Fine then. Uh oh, overflow, population, common food, but it'll do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its own needs, listen to your heart bleed. Dummy with the rapture and the reverent in the right - right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright light, Feeling pretty psyched. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine.
Six o'clock - TV hour. Don't get caught in foreign towers. Slash and burn, return, listen to yourself churn. Locking in uniforming, book burning, blood letting. Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate. Light a candle, light a votive. Step down, step down. Watch your heel crush, crush. Uh oh, This means no fear - cavalier. Renegade, steer clear! A tournament, a tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives And I decline. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine. The other night I dreamt of knives, continental drift divide. Mountains sit in a line Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Breshnev, Lester Bangs and Lenny Bruce. Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You symbiotic, patriotic, slam book neck, right? Right. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it. It's the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine... fine... (It's time I had some time alone, It's time I had some time alone, It's time I had some time alone I feel fine...)

Kiko Veneno
I'm looking down on London But there's little I can see Cos I'm living so high up And it looks so small to me And I'm feeling so frustrated Cos the lifts are out once more And when I get home from work tonight I gotta climb 14 floors, I tell you mate...
14th floor Oh no, my face don't fit 14th floor
Just a number on the council list 14th floor Oh no, there's nothing to do 14th floor It's got a roof, it hasn't got a view
I've lived here for seven years now But I don't know anyone I think the bloke next door is a Jamaican But he could be an Irishman And life's no fun in a tower block When you're locked behind your door I think I must have had enough Of living on the 14th floor, I tell you mate...
14th floor Oh no my face don't fit 14th floor No no another number on the council list 14th floor
No no no there's nothing to do 14th floor No no no it hasn't got a view 14th floor No no no I've really got to go 14th floor Had enough of yesterday's show 14th floor Oh no my face don't fit 14th floor Just a number on the council list
Protection, prevention, detection, detention
There's nowhere to defect to anymore
Protection, prevention, detection, detention
There's nowhere to defect to anymore
I'm building a wall, a fine wall
Not so much to keep you out, more to keep me in
I'm building a wall, a fine wall
Not so much to keep you out, more to keep me in
Back then on a bomb site we were spies among the ruins
Such precocious barbarians, on TV we saw cold war
Protection, prevention, detection, detention
There's nowhere to defect to anymore
Protection, prevention, detection, detention
There's nowhere to defect to anymore
I'm leaving the world, it's all wrong
Not so much what men are doing much more what they're not
I'm building a wall, a fine wall
Jesus and The Man from U.N.C.L.E.
Caesar conquered Gaul scouting for centurions on a Roman wall
Through the woods, the trees and further on the sea
We lived in the shadow of the war
Sand in the sandwiches wasps in the tea, it was a free country
Who do you think you are, Captain Britain?
I'm building a wall, a fine wall
Not so much to keep you out, more to keep me in
I'm losing my head, well why not?
More wood for the undertaker means there's less for me
I'm building a wall, a fine wall
Not so much to keep you out, more to keep me in
I'm building a wall, a fine wall
Not so much to keep you out, more to keep me in
I'm building a wall, a fine wall
Not so much to keep you out, more to keep me in
(coro) A tu vera hermana mía Cuantos ratos pasaría (x3)
Picture yourself in a boat on a river With tangerine trees and marmalade skies Somebody calls you, you answer quite slowly A girl with kaleidoscope eyes
Cellophane flowers of yellow and green Towering over your head Look for the girl with the sun in her eyes And she's gone
Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds, ah
Follow her down to a bridge by a fountain Where rocking horse people eat marshmallow pies Everyone smiles as you drift past the flowers That grow so incredibly high
Newspaper taxies appear on the shore Waiting to take you away Climb in the back with your head in the clouds And you're gone
Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds, ah
Picture yourself in a train in a station With plasticine porters with looking glass ties Suddenly someone is there at the turnstile The girl with kaleidoscope eyes
Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds, ah
Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds, ah
Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds Lucy in the sky with diamonds

Malditas elecciones
Once there was confidence but now there is fear Once there was laughter but now only tears Once there were reasons for our optimism But now we're all drowning in a sea of cynicism
But I hope and I pray in my own naive way That one day we can reach some sort of understanding Try a little more sharing Try a little more giving Might find a sense of belonging Might find a sense of belonging
And I know you think I'm young and naive Because I go on CND marches, well that's my decision I think that you're the one who's naive If you believe all the things you see on television It's all propaganda and like a fool you accept it And like a fool you ignore it Why don't you try and stop it To try and find a sense of belonging
I know you watch "World In Action" and "Panorama" And to you it's just another soap opera drama, it can't happen here Have a nice cup of tea and we'll all stay calm And we'll come to no harm in our nice warm underground shelters There'll be helter skelter There'll be babies dying, you'll hear their mothers crying I've seen the devil smiling, I've seen the devil smiling Try to find a sense of belonging A sense of belonging
And you laugh and make jokes about what you will do When the button is pressed and we hear the four minute warning And if you think it's funny now wait 'till the bomb goes off You'll all be in fucking hysterics You'll see babies dying, you'll hear mothers crying I'm only asking for one thing Just want a sense of belonging
No more weapons and no more wars No more violence What's it all for anyway?
"The Israeli decision to rain death and destruction on Gaza, to use
lethal weapons of the modern battlefield on a largely defenseless civilian population, is the final phase in a decades-long campaign to ethnically-cleanse Palestinians. Israel uses sophisticated attack jets and naval vessels to bomb
densely-crowded refugee camps, schools, apartment blocks, mosques,
and slums to attack a population that has no air force, no air defense, no navy, no heavy weapons, no artillery units,
no mechanized armor, no command in control, no army… and calls it a war. It is not a war, it is murder." Noam Chomsky
a favor del patrón;
la ley no escucha al pueblo, paloma,
aunque tenga razón.
El deber del trabajo
dicen que tengo yo.
De mis deberes hablan, paloma,
de mis derechos no.
Pero nos uniremos
contra la explotación;
la fuerza de los hombres, paloma,
siempre será la unión.
Nos juzgan y condenan
en nombre de la paz,
cada vez que pedimos, paloma,
justicia y libertad.
Pero la paz tú eres
y con ellos no estás,
que vuelas con nosotros, paloma
paloma de la paz.
I can remember when this was the future Where it was gonna be at then Why don't we turn the whole bloody lot down And make a new start all over again?
I can recall utopian thinking Bold mission statements and tightening of belts Demolition of familiar landmarks Promises made and deals that were dealt
This used to be the future Where it was gonna be at then Let's turn the whole bloody lot down And start all over again
But that future was exciting Science fiction made fact Now all we have to look forward to Is a sort of suicide pact
Was it the dear old future That created the problems we face? How do we deal with the fallout Of the age we used to call space?
I can remember planning for leisure Living in peace and freedom from fear Science that promised to make us a new world Religion and prejudice disappear
I can remember when this was the future Where it was gonna be at back then Now religion and nuclear energy have united To threaten, oh God! Amen
This used to be the future Where it was at back then Now religion and nuclear energy have united Oh God! Amen
Was it the dear old future That created the problems we face? How do we deal with the fallout Of the age we used to call space?
This used to be the future Where it was at back then Let's turn the whole bloody lot down And start all over again Amen
Work all days in the burning sun Work all days god I get some fun Here men come god I get some rest I lay my head on my woman chest
Homeward bound I make my way (homeward bound I make my way) Longing to see my family And thinking of the joyce that evening will bring When I see them smile at me
I 've been working much too hard (working, working) blooooood, sweat and tears Lord in summertime your smile on me So please hear my plea (hear my plea)
Work all days in the burning sun Work all days god I get some fun Here men come god I get some rest I lay my head on my woman chest
Oh lord, oh lord hear my plea Can’t you see I'm down on my knees You know Lord, I’m not the kind of men To give up easily mhhmmmmm
Everyday I wake up (wake up, wake up) Everyday I wake up (wake up) It’s a same old song mhhmmmmm I go to work, I go to work all day long
Oh lord, oh lord hear my plea Can’t you see I'm down on my knees You know Lord, I’m not the kind of men To give up easily mhhmmmmm
(I am working all day long) I got to work all day long (I am working all day long) I got to work in the burning sun (I am working all day long) mhhmmmmm
I am working all day long

I Love Onions
I don't like snails, or toads, or frogs, Or strange things living under logs, But, mmm, I love onions. I don't like dancin' with crazy Ted, He's always jumpin' on my head, But, mmm, I love onions.
Onions, onions, la la la. Onions, onions, ha ha ha. Root toot doodle-ee-oot doot doo doot. Onions, onions, la la la. Onions, onions, ha ha ha. Root toot doodle-ee-oot doot doo doot.
I don't like rain, or snow, or hail, Or Moby Dick, the great white whale, But, mmm, I love onions. I don't like shoes that pinch your toes, Or people who squirt you with a garden hose, But, mmm, I love onions.
Onions, onions, la la la. Onions, onions, ha ha ha. Root toot doodle-ee-oot doot doo doot. Onions, onions, la la la. Onions, onions, ha ha ha. Root toot doodle-ee-oot doot doo doot. Yeah!
The
onion is a tuberous vegetable and is a member of the genus stinkus
delicioso. It was highly prized by the ancient Egyptian pharaohs, and
their friends and cousins-a. They cause watering of the eyes and
rubifaction of the skin, but it is very, very tasty. (huhuh)
Onions, onions, la la la. Onions, onions, ha ha ha. Root toot doodle-ee-oot doot doo doot. Onions, onions, la la la. Onions, onions, ha ha ha. Root toot doodle-ee-oot doot doo doot. How vewwy, vewwy cwude!

Collapse of History
Information is like meds
They pump us full of them
I can't trust my own eyes anymore
I think I can't trust my own eyes anymore
Ohhoohhhohhhh The Collapse of History!
Well, are you going to act or will you just stare at your screen to hours on end?
Must another crisis move another generation to action?
The collapse of history
The collapse of history
Press forward-escape and watch it collapse! HEY!
Ohhoohhhohhhh The Collapse of History!
All this adrenaline is messing with my head
All this adrenaline is messing with my head
I want to become a threat
to no one but myself! HEY!
The collapse of history
The collapse of history
The collapse of history
Press forward-escape and watch it collapse! HEY!
Ohhoohhhohhhh The Collapse of History!!
Activities crystallize in front of my eyes
Histories plasticize in front of my eyes
Conspiracies trivialize in front of my eyes
I can feel it rumbling in my mind! HEY
The collapse of history
Press forward-escape and watch it collapse! HEY!
Atrás, a contratiempo. Atrás, a contratiempo. ¡A orza, a orza, palomas! Huid a vela y a remo. Atrás, a contratiempo. Atrás, a contratiempo. Atrás, a contratiempo. Atrás a contratiempo. Atrás, a contratiempo. Atrás, a contratiempo. Monjitas arrepentidas, entrad en el astillero. Os desguacen armadores, os coman salitre y muergos, muergos. Atrás, a contratiempo.
Fuente
The rain's falling lightly on the buildings and the cars
I've said goodbye to city friends, department stores and bars
The lights of town are at my back, my heart is full of stars
And I'm gonna be a country girl again
Oh, yes, I'm gonna be a country girl again
With an old brown dog and a big front porch
And rabbits in the pen
I tell you, all the lights on Broadway
Don't amount to an acre of green
And I'm gonna be a country girl again
I spent some time in study, oh I've taken my degrees
And memorized my formulae my A's and B's and C's
But what I know came long ago and not from such as these
And I'm gonna be a country girl again
[CHORUS]
I've wandered in the hearts of men looking for the sign
That here I might learn happiness, I might learn peace of mind
The one who taught my lesson was the soft winds through the pines
And I'm gonna be a country girl again
[CHORUS x2]
